Zemi Beach House is part of the Hilton LXR hotels which are luxury hotels and resorts around the world. It’s located on the island of Anguilla in the Lesser Antilles of the Caribbean. Best known for its pristine beaches and luxurious atmosphere, Zemi Beach House is the perfect place to stay when in Anguilla.
I’m a Hilton fan for sure, and after they’ve added the LXR and SLH luxury hotels, it’s just gotten better! Throughout this Zemi Beach House review, I’ll share tons of information about this resort and why I think you’ll absolutely love it. We’ve stayed at some nice hotels before, but this tops the list for me of best hotels I’ve ever stayed at.

Booking Zemi Beach House
Zemi Beach House can be booked directly on Hilton and through partner websites such as Booking.com. Additionally, it’s one of the best point redemptions available through Hilton. Rooms start at around 120,000 points a night, with the cash rate starting at $900-$1200 a night. This means your points can get you well above the average value for Hilton points.
Additionally, this hotel does allow you to use free reward nights. So you can book utilizing your free reward nights through the Hilton Honors credit card. We love our Hilton credit card, check it out here.
There are also two important things to know before booking a flight and starting to look at this hotel. It’s important to know these things before booking anything:
- Each year Zemi Beach House closes for the months of September and October. During this time, no one can stay at the hotel.
- During peak months like December they have a minimum stay of one week. Check your dates to see if they have a minimum stay requirement in effect.
Location
Zemi Beach House is located in Anguilla in the Lesser Antilles on one of the best beaches in the world, Shoal Bay. This location is absolutely stunning, with white sand and what I like to call Gatorade blue water.
Within walking distance of the hotel, you can visit other small restaurants and beach shacks, snorkel, and enjoy the calm of this beautiful area.
The last note about the location of this hotel that is important to note is that it is on a hill. You will either have to do a lot of walking uphill or you can use one of the golf cart rides available to get around.
Getting There
Speaking of getting around, we found getting to Zemi Beach House to be fairly easy, although it took us a few different steps! Below is information on the different options.
- You can fly into Saint Martin and Sint Maarten and take a ferry or short flight from there to Anguilla.
- Clayton J. Lloyd International Airport is a small airport on the island primarily used for regional flights. American Airlines offers direct flights to Anguilla from Miami and New York (JFK) airports, and JetBlue also flies there.
- Public ferries from St. Martin to Anguilla run on average every hour from one island to another. The ferry is $30 (as of 2025) each way, and you will need to pay a tourist tax on both islands. These taxes can be paid with a card, but you have to pay for the ferry in cash.
- Many companies offer private or shared boat charters from St. Martin to Anguilla. These charters can be scheduled by Zemi Beach House, or you can use a service like GetYourGuide or Viator.
We chose to fly to St. Martin and take the public ferry. It is really easy and convenient! Although ferry tickets cannot be purchased beforehand, the schedule is on the SXM tourism board’s website. The whole process is quick, but arrive at least 30-40 minutes before the ferry time, just in case.
Rooms
Zemi Beach House is a small luxury resort with just 47 rooms. We loved how boutique and bespoke it felt! Unlike major resorts like the Four Seasons nearby, it is quiet and calm. It never felt crowded or too busy.
The rooms were quite large (starting at 700 square feet), and the bathrooms were huge and luxurious. We also loved the additional amenities in the room, like the beach bag, steamer, luxury towels/robes, and espresso machine. All rooms include a balcony overlooking the ocean or gardens.
We were upgraded to an ocean-view room overlooking the adults only pool. The view was beautiful, and the balcony was quite large, too. We enjoyed sitting on it as we sipped champagne during sunset and our coffee in the morning.
I recommend getting an ocean-view room in either the front left or front right building, as the rooms are less obstructed. Ours was what I’d call a partial ocean view because the pool and restaurant were in front of the ocean.
Amenities
Several amenities at this hotel make it a wonderful stay. You could stay here for your entire vacation and never have to leave! Truly a luxury and relaxing experience.

We loved the next level amenities available at this resort. The turn down service was not just a nightly turn down, but also included treats. When you arrive at the hotel, they give you a refreshing drink. Walk onto the beach, and the beach concierge will be there to place your towel and provide bottled water.
The landscaping and facilities at this hotel are also beyond well maintained. We loved how beautiful everything was and how well kept. Clean, beautiful, calming everywhere you look. The vibe of this hotel was just incredible.
They have kayak equipment on site and can also help you arrange many other fun activities during your stay. Their concierge was easy to contact to make reservations and provide recommendations.
Our favorite pool was the infinity pool by the beach. The water was warmer, and the beach view along the pool was just fabulous! The adult only pool isn’t on the beach, so you don’t get a view here, but it is very quiet, which is nice. The last pool is located at the spa—more information is below.
Thai House Spa
One of the best things to do during a stay at Zemi Beach House is a spa treatment at Thai House Spa. Located in a 300 year old Thai house, this spa is beautiful and genuinely relaxing. We did a couples massage during our stay, and it was terrific.
All spa treatments include time to relax at the Vitality Pool, which is a quiet and relaxing experience before or after your treatment. You can also visit the juice bar for a refreshing drink before or after treatment.
I recommend getting a massage here, but they offer a full range of services, from waxes to manicures and facials. My only warning for you is we saw a lot of mosquitoes in the locker area of the hotel and near the juice bar. They had repellent onsite, but something to note.
Food and Drink
During our stay, we had the chance to visit all three restaurants and bars at the resort. Everything we ate and drank was delicious, and I would recommend! Below is information on each of the restaurants and my thoughts.
This is not an all-inclusive resort, so you will need to pay out of pocket for all food and drink except breakfast, which is included. However, if you have a Hilton credit card, you can use your quarterly statement credit for this hotel.
Restaurants and Bars:
- 20 Knots: Live entertainment accompanied by traditional Mediterranean cuisine from Greece, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Morocco, Egypt, and Turkey. The full buffet breakfast is also here, and we found it delicious! Breakfast, lunch, dinner, cocktails
- Bohio Bar & Sushi Lounge: Equipped with a sushi bar and an inviting atmosphere, this is a relaxing spot to enjoy food and drinks. While it has a sushi bar, we didn’t see much sushi on the menu; instead, it was primarily Caribbean and American, such as flatbreads and grilled shrimp. Lunch, dinner, cocktails
- Rhum Room: Enjoy rum tastings and specialty drinks in the Rhum Room. You’ll need to make a reservation to enjoy your time here. Cocktails, reservation only
- Shoal Bay Beach Club: Casual dining on the beach or by the pool. Frozen daiquiris, fruit skewers, and deluxe sushi plates are just a few of the available options. Lunch, cocktails
- Stone: Asian and Caribbean fine dining fusion inspired by seasonal ingredients. Seafood and steaks are the star times on the menu, in my opinion. Dinner, reservation only
Service
One of the highlights of staying here is definitely the service. The staff is so attentive, kind, and thoughtful. Everyone you pass greets you with a kind smile and hello; additionally, they are extremely helpful, warm, and attentive.
It was our anniversary, and throughout our stay, they provided lots of little extras, like a bottle of champagne and a note upon arrival to our room or the fruit plate after our massage that included a happy anniversary message.
Plus, the things I mentioned above, like laying out towels for us when we chose a chair on the beach or service at the restaurants. When our food came late, they were apologetic and offered us the meal for free. Good service goes a long way, and we already wish to return to this resort!
Overall
If you couldn’t tell, I think that Zemi Beach House is a wonderful choice for where to stay when you’re in Anguilla and is an excellent redemption of Hilton points. You’re going to love staying here, and I hope my Zemi Beach House review helps you make a decision about your trip.
